Silent but deadly smells!

Written by Sal Salafia, Certified Avian Specialist

Air is the one common need that all living things require, but not all bodies work the same way. Our pet birds have air sacs that compress air differently than our lungs.

Different compression of air means what’s acceptable air for us to breath may be dangerous to our birds. Knowing the basics in how your birds body works can make your birds life extend ten fold!
